Welcome To OXAC
|
Welcome to the Old Xaverians Athletic Club Web Site. The OXAC is based in Melbourne, Australia, and was established in 1930. It has developed a proud tradition in both performance excellence and social participation in road events, cross country, and track & field. The club welcomes current and former school boys from Xavier College, as well as men and women of any ability who have no affiliation with the school. The club caters equally to social runners who want to keep fit and enjoy the social aspects of the club, as well as to athletes who are looking to fulfill their athletic potential.
WINTER: In winter the club competes in the Associated Public Schools Old Collegian cross country competition, as well as combining with fellow APSOC clubs to field a team in the Athletics Victoria winter competition.
SUMMER: In summer the OXAC competes in the Athletics Victoria Track & Field competition in men's, women's and junior divisions. The club welcomes field gamers, sprinters and middle and long distance runners of all abilities.
